    @MyFreedomChannel Titles are normally passed on from the father. Their father did not have one so therefore they weren’t entitled to one. The Queen actually insisted on giving Peter and Zara ‘HRH’ status as they are the offspring of a high ranking royal. However, Princess Anne figured that since they would be so far down the line of succession in the future, it was pointless. A woman with great foresight.

    Question: Someone once told me years ago that Princess Anne’s children do not have titles. Is this true? If so, is there a Constitutional reason for this? I’m from the US, and I’m not familiar with British Royal protocol or the laws; that’s why I ask. Thank you! :)

    @politelypompous Not if they change the law like they’ve been talking about recently to remove the gender requirement, as Anne is the second oldest of the 4

    @sarahedwards2 WRONG! Have you forgotten Prince Andrew? I know most people want to but if those three died, Andrew would be next-then his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie. After that would come Prince Edward and his two children.

    It’s quite a ways until Princess Anne!

    @SuzLa1 Actually, the rules are not retroactive, so any child born from the date of the rule will be included, not those already born.

    My mom and I were having a rather interesting conversation that if Charles, William and Harry were all killed in a car/plane crash, Anne would be queen!

    I wonder if changes where females don’t take 2nd place to males will put Annes children in front for the throne than Andrew and Fergie’s children?

    I think it would have been nice that a picture with the dad in it would of made the picture look like a family. After all, Princess Anne did not create the children by herself.
    I am speaking of the picture when it was taken with Princess Anne and her two children.I guess it is better that commoners not marry into royalty.Royalty should marry royalty. I think to some degree, it is very self centered, and care less about the feelings of outsiders who marry into the royal family. Any royal family
