Weve just learned that Actress Michelle Rodriguez, who played Rain Ocampo in the original Resident Evil, has signed on to reprise that role in Resident Evil: Retribution although It is not yet clear how Rain Ocampo will fit into the story line considering she met her end in the original film when she became a zombie. We’re guessing the most logical choice would be for her to be involved with a flashback of some kind. So far, the production has already announced cast members from previous Resident Evil movies are returning, such as Sienna Guillory who will play Jill Valentine and Colin Salmon who will play One with cameos by Resident Evil: Afterlife’s Shawn Roberts Albert Wesker. Resident Evil: Retribution comes to theaters September 14th, 2012 and stars Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Boris Kodjoe, Colin Salmon, Michelle Rodriguez. The film is directed by Paul WS Anderson.
