World’s Largest Cargo Ship Get a load of this ship! 15,000 containers and a 207′ beam! And look at the crew size (13) for a ship longer than US aircraft carriers, which have complements of 5,000 men and officers. Think it’s big enough? Notice that 207′ beam means it was NOT designed for the Panama or Suez canal . It is strictly transpacific. Check out the “cruise speed”. 31 mph means the goods arrive four days before the typical container ship traveling at 18 to 20 mph on a China-to-California run. So this behemoth is hugely competitive when carrying perishable goods.This ship was built in three, perhaps as many as five sections. The sections floated together and then welded. It is named Emma Maersk. The command bridge is higher than a ten story building and has eleven rigs that can operate simultaneously.

I recently discovered a new ‘inspiration’ if you like in my life. While listening to music and doing my homework (yes men, this is called multitasking!), I came across an artist called Mads Langer. They ususlly ask was his love at first sight. No this was love at first hearing! I fell in love (again) with his amazing,  quirky voice and his heart-warming music and lyrics.

Since debuting in 2006, Danish Mads has become well known in Northern Europe and has become an everyday craving and addiction too me. He has released two albums. The first in 2006, titled Attention Please and the second in 2009 called simply, Mads Langer. His second album is certainly my favourite and the songs on it represent my life exactly and i find he is such a role model to all teenagers my age. All the dramas of a teenage life can be solved with a bit of Mads!

His second album contains songs such as Beauty of the Dark, Wake me Up in Time and Last Flower as well as a cover of You’re not Alone which reached 6th in the charts  in the Italy.  These songs remid me of those who are special in my life and those I most care about. Funnily enough Mads wrote all his songs about those he most love too! That quirky, quite frankly stunning voice is one that brings a beam to my face after a sad and gloomy day.

Mads Langer is what can only be described as a multi-instrumentalist. Yeah, after his 27 years on this tuff planet, Mads has learnt to play the guitar, piano, the keyboard and as an added bonus he can sing too! The songs on the second album show all his musical talents (ans maybe other talents too ;D) and his heart felt lyrics, all of which he has wrote himself. That indeed is one of his strenghs because over the last 5 years Mads has wrote over 250 songs himself. Most are alike but are certainly unique in their own way. Although sometimes his songs sound the same, they aren’t. Truthfully that is the only weakness I can find. Seriously, he’s that good!

So now I have come to listen to him everyday. Whether it is before or after school, at weekends, doing homework or even going to sleep. His music has become part of my daily routine and life and will definatley stay part of it for a long time to come, I can guarentee that!

My boyfriend has started to think i am in a cyber relationship with his. In my dreams maybe! He finds it hillarious that I listen to him everydaywithout hesitation. Frankly, I apparently spend more time listening th Mads Langer that I do with him. Babe, that is not true. Although I love his music i love you more than i could ever imagine!

I’d recommend him to anybody my age and probably to anyone i meet. Especially with his international debult alubum Behold making an appearence May 9th 2011, I will certainly be front of the qeue ready to buy it! So take a listen, you willbe amazed at how good he is! Mads Langer People!!!!!
